LOCKDOWN is a 16mm, eight-minute short written, directed, and produced by David Harris. Made in association with The New York Film Academy, Lockdown is the story of a seemingly innocent, yet stressed, high school girl who is caught in a room with a man she does not recognize during a high school shooting. Lisa, our protagonist, was portrayed by actress Najarra Townsend. Opposite her was Douglas MacPherson, playing the confused, yet suspicious substitute teacher.

The film was produced in the heart of Hollywood and filmed at the K-8 school St. Nicholas in Northridge, where the “lockdown” occurred. On set, there was a six-person crew all working to achieve a single product. Director of Photography Annie McGrath helped transform the story from words on a paper to pictures on a screen. The film was conceived, written, shot, and completed within a 6-week time frame. : imdb :
